Tidepools and Trees

Story by Taylor Nichols

As the spring begins and the weather improves, many in Bellingham enjoy the change in season by seeking outdoor activities. Larrabee State Park is among the destination points for those looking to spend some time in the forest. The park, which houses a campground, provides trails for hikers of all skill levels through two acres of forest. For those who are hoping to relax or explore less treacherous ground, a short trail to the beach is available. There are tide pools to investigate, rocks to climb, and sand to recline and enjoy the view of Bellingham Bay on.
