Soccer

The Whatcom men’s soccer team lost its most recent game, a 2-0 shutout against Edmonds Community College, on Oct. 9. Despite the loss, the Orcas find themselves in first place in the NWAACC’s North Region standings with a 3-3-1 record. Their next game occurs on Oct. 16, when they’ll play Skagit Valley Community College. The game will be held at Whatcom’s Orca Field and begins at 2 p.m.

The Orca women’s soccer team also suffered a shutout in their most recent match, losing 4-0 to Edmonds Community College on Oct. 9. With a 2-5-1 record, the team is currently tied for third place in the NWAACC North Region standings. They will play Skagit Valley Community College on Oct. 16 at Whatcom’s Orca Field. The game begins at 5 p.m.

Volleyball

The Whatcom women’s volleyball team currently finds itself in a three-way tie for first place in the NWAACC’s North Region standings after their most recent match on Oct. 8 against Edmonds Community College.

In that match, the Orcas outscored Edmonds in each of the three games contested.

With a current league record of 4-1, the Orcas will play Bellevue Community College this Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. in Whatcom’s Pavilion gym.
